LUNG FORCE is a national movement led by the American Lung Association with a singular mission: to unite everyone to stand together against lung cancer and for lung health. The LUNG FORCE Walk is like no other charity walk. It is a passionate community gathering that celebrates the collective power of our breath and voice to stand up against lung cancer and for lung health. We walk because: ?Lung cancer is the #1 cancer killer in the U.S. for both men and women ?Californians breathe the worst air in the nation. 80% of us live in areas affected by unhealthy air ?More than 34,000 children begin smoking each year in California When we walk together, we are a force to be reckoned with.
