TUSD Youth Mental Health Workshops During COVID-19
TUSD Parent Information Workshops on Youth Mental Health During COVID-19
Tustin, CA - The Tustin Unified School District’s Student Services Department is partnering with Hoag ASPIRE to host parent information workshops on youth wellness and mental health. The workshops will be conducted via Zoom on Wednesday, Sept. 9, at 6 p.m. and Wednesday, Sept. 30, at 10 a.m.
Parents will learn ways to support youth mental health during the COVID-19 crisis and identify effective strategies to help teens manage stress. Licensed therapists will lead the presentations. The workshops are open to all elementary, middle and high school parents and caregivers interested in learning how to prevent, respond and seek support. Both workshops are English only; however, the program will be offered in Spanish at a future date.
